Administration

The administration of the department is comprised of the Chief of Police, a Captain, and two Lieutenants who are supported by an administrative secretary. The responsibilities of the administration include the operation, training, and oversight of 37 personnel. Maintaining the annual budget, fleet, equipment, and operational readiness of the department are also part of the administrative function.  The administration provides extensive law enforcement experience and over 14,000 training hours. It is the goal of each member of the administration to pass on this experience and knowledge to those officers under their command. In doing so, the Administration further prepares the officers to provide high-quality service to ensure the safety and well-being of Borger, our citizens, and visitors that come to our city.
