    Biography


    Eddie joined the City of Borger in 1980 as a Water Maintenance Supervisor in the Water Department. In 1987 Eddie was promoted to Water Maintenance Superintendent and in 1998 to Assistant Director of Utilities. In February 2006, the Borger City Council confirmed the appointment of Eddie as Assistant City Manager and appointed him as City Manager on April 1, 2010. Eddie announced his retirement in 2021.  His successor was appointed effective April 1, 2021 and in honor of his 41 years of service, Eddie began serving the community as City Manager Emeritus.


    Eddie holds a TCEQ Grade B Surface Water and a Grade B Wastewater license, is a TDLR Master Electrician, and is a Certified Public Manager. Eddie is a member of the American Water Works Association, the Texas City Management Association, the Texas Human Resources Association, and the Texas Water Utilities Association.


    Family & Community

    Eddie is a lifelong resident of Borger and has been married to his wife, Cambden, for 35 years. Together they are the parents of Thomas and James and proud grandparents to Kaden and Mackenzie. Eddie is a private pilot and enjoys recreational flying, motorcycle riding, woodworking, and traveling. Eddie is a member of the First Baptist Church of Borger.
